Fun Facts
I absolutely love to be active! I have played sports all of my life which has lead to me being more of a learn-by-doing type of individual. One thing that people will learn quickly about me is that I love to explore! Whether it's further into my studies or a local beach by my home in California. I am passionate about surfing and love to dance and sing despite my lack of skill.
About Me
I am a sophomore Kinesiology major with a focus in Movement Science at Texas Christian University. I am on the Dean's Honor List and after graduation hope to attend graduate school to get my Physical Therapist certification. My goal it to become a Physical Therapist at a local clinic or start my own Physical Therapy clinic. I have an accumulated 3.82 GPA and am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars along with the Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity.
As a member of the National Honors Society and National Charity League in high school, I was able to tutor many young kids in elementary and middle school, along with young students with learning disabilities. I have also had experience tutoring throughout my freshman year on my own time. I love to learn and help others learn in the best way possible.
Throughout my high school career, I learned that I am more of a hands on learner. I learn by doing which is a tactic that I plan on utilizing in my tutoring sessions through many examples and guidance to the right solutions. I also find it very helpful when being questioned on core concepts which I plan to do as a tutor as well. As a tutor, I also find it my responsibility to equip the students with the tools necessary to study successfully in all classes and for future classes.
