My passion since i was a little girl is visual art. Drawing, painting, sculpting, are perfect ways to entertain myself. it is perfect to challenge my skills and imagination, which can range from drawing horrific gory creatures to elegant pin-up models. Another hobby of mine is playing drums and guitar mostly to the beat of punk rock and thrash metal.

About Me

I am currently a sophomore, majoring in communications with an option in interpersonal communication at California State University Los Angeles. I have an overall GPA of 3.5 and am a member in the National Society for Collegiate Scholars program. My plans after Graduating is to return to the school that educated me by becoming a university professor.

I have not yet been hired as an official tutor by a company or business. However throughout my life even as a child my teachers or professors frequently elected me to assist my fellow classmates as i was a quick learner able to complete assignments quicker. Nowadays, i altruistically tutor my family and friends of grade levels from kindergarten to college on a weekly basis. Although i have not worked professionally in this field, I am highly encouraged by those i tutor.

when i first approach a new student i first try to evaluate their level of understanding in whatever subject they are doing. When teaching a material that i see they are having trouble grasping i like to use try visual or practical methods, or in ways that are relating to the students. I make sure they understand how every step works and why it works as it does. I also like to help them find memory triggers for study strategies. the point is to show them a complicated problem and show them the simplest and most effective strategies. I believe that students only fully understand a subject if they can teach it and explain it themselves in a simple way.
