I adopted my daughter. She is autistic and headstrong. I enjoy hanging out with her. My other passion is crafting. I like to sew, paint and make things.

About Me

I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University. I graduated Cum Laude and all the while worked full time. My love is teaching. I feel that anyone can be impacted by a phenomenal teacher.

Experience

I have taught all grade levels from 3rd through Algebra I in public schools. I am certified to teach Math and ESL. I have also taught ESL online for the past 2 1/2 years.

Approach

I enjoy teaching middle school. This is a time when socially and emotionally students struggle. I believe that with compassion, understanding and engagement all students can and should learn. I believe that I am approachable. I always want my students to feel welcome in my class and realize that they matter to me.
