I am from Honolulu, Hawai'i but moved to Sacramento, CA when I was five. I played soccer for 11 years and took kenpo karate for 8 years, attaining my first degree black belt in the process. I am a huge nerd in everything ranging from Star Wars to Doctor Who. About Me

I am an incoming freshman at San Francisco State University. I recently graduated from John F Kennedy High School in Sacramento, California. My dream is to become a writer and to successfully publish a historical fiction novel.

I gained experience in tutoring this past year teaching a 6 year old how to read. I also have vast experience unofficially tutoring friends in World and United States History.

My main approach to tutoring history is solidifying the understanding of how certain events are directly or indirectly related. I attempt to build on the basic knowledge of my student instead of simply thrusting information at them and I try to identify the problem areas of the student and eliminate these issues one by one.
