Approach
While in school, I found it always helpful to see the larger picture and purpose of the topic that I was learning. Therefore, I try to help students see purpose in their work, whether that be grammar, rhetoric, foreign language, or any of the arts. I believe that language is the basis of education and society and that a profound comprehension of language directs students to a higher appreciation of community. I help students see the larger picture of education as the construction of community.
