About Me
I am a graduate student at American University studying chemistry. I did my undergraduate work in international relations and have the unique ability to go back and forth between the sciences and the humanities with ease. am very interested in science policy and nonproliferation (nuclear weapons, biological and chemical weapons).
I did some SAT prep washington-dc">tutoring in high school and tutored local elementary students in the neighborhood in reading and writing when I was in High School.
I believe that everyone learns differently and therefore it is the duty of the washington-dc">tutor to understand the student's unique learning style and cater the teaching to amplify that learning process. With subjects such as chemistry, it is extremely important the students understand the fundamental concepts and can visualize the structures and scenarios. A strong foundations is inherent in moving forward. A weak foundation will cause a student to crumble in the future which is why i feel it is important to stress topics and spend more time on basics before moving forward.
