It might be surprising if you meet me, but I actually have run the maryland/baltimore">Baltimore City Marathon. I also competed in equine sports from the time I was 10 until last year. I'm new to the area so I am constantly attempting new foods, sports and activities all around D.C.!

About Me

I am a recent graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. While there I studied Environmental Science and Pre-medical Studies. I graduated with a overall 3.5 GPA. I am currently working at Suburban Hospital in maryland/bethesda">Bethesda, MD while applying to medical schools.

While at Skidmore College I was a teaching assistant for the Biology Department. I tutored Marine Biology and the first and second semesters of Introductory Biology. Additionally, I volunteered for a group that tutored second graders twice a week in Language Arts and Math.

I like to ask where or what the student is struggling with and then back up a few paces to make sure that the leading material is fully grasped before attempting to tackle the problems they are having trouble with. In other cases I like to have a student work through the problem on their own first, and only use me as a guide.
