About Me

I am a Biochemistry major, minoring in Philosophy, at Arizona State University. I began taking college courses when I was in high school and completed a year-long medical education course at a hospital. In spring 2021, I was ranked in the Dean's List at the College of the Sequoias and was inducted into The National Society of Leadership and Success in the summer of 2021. My career goal is to become a Family Medicine Physician.

Experience

I have tutored high school and college-level Biology 1 and Philosophy. For eight years, I have had extensive oral communication practice through voluntary services at my church. Additionally, I was a teacher's assistant in high-school and this experience helped me develop the skills to teach others.

Approach

I grew up with ADD and experienced the struggle of learning when it was easy for me to be distracted and have a lack of interest in the subject. Experiencing this myself, I will not only teach the subject in a concise manner but also instruct the student about the memory tricks and study techniques that ensures long-term memory about the subject. I will be patient because I understand that some concepts are hard to understand in the first few tries. "Anyone can learn anything" is my philosophy!
