I am very interested in movies. I love to watch movies. I love all types of genres such as action, drama, comedy, and romance. Also, basketball is my favorite sport. I love to watch basketball and I used to play it a lot as a kid. Another fun fact about me is that I love music. I listen to music everyday and I a also versatile on the various genres of music I listen to.

About Me

I am recent graduate from wayne-state-university">Wayne State University. I got my bachelors in Social Work in May 2013. I am currently in graduate school at wayne-state-university">Wayne State University to obtain my Masters in Social Work. In the near future, I plan to work within the child welfare system.

I have had a year of experience detroit">tutoring at the elementary level on the subjects of math and reading. I tutored a young 7 year old girl in math and reading. I was able to help her excel reading-comprehension/michigan/detroit">reading comprehension as well as understanding and applying math-elementary/michigan/detroit">elementary math concepts.

As a young child, I struggled with math. It seemed to be a very complex subject that was hard to comprehend. I found that incorporating fun games helped me to learn this subject a lot quicker. Therefore, I find that my detroit">tutoring approach should be fun with games, because it helps the student to want to engage, and they are having fun while they doing it.
