I love the outdoors - running, hiking, lake swimming, roller blading, XC skiing, nature walks, field hockey, soccer. You name it, I am there! About Me

I am an occupational therapist with a master of science from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. I formed a foundation in the sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology in the Pre Med Biomedical Sciences program. I worked as a tutor during my time in graduate school focusing on the sciences and test prep. Now, I work with preschool, elementary and middle school students to achieve their academic milestones. I believe everyone is their unique individual and therefore, learning should be tailored to each person’s needs. Learning is lifelong and once you find what works for YOU, it can be such an enjoyable process. The sky is the limit.

Experience

I have previously worked with other tutoring organizations with undergraduate students at Syracuse University, Oswego College, Cortland State University and Rochester Institute of Technology. I also tutored graduate courses in the sciences. I love pediatrics and I have committed my occupational career to helping little kiddos achieve academic readiness. I work on writing, reading, ESL preparation, English, science and homework coaching/studying strategies.

I believe every student deserves their own framework for learning. Therefore, my approach is client centered and individual, just like the person they are. I want to know about who you are as a person, what is meaningful to you, what lights you up and what you need to succeed.
