I am a major Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Tigers Basketball fan. I love Starbucks and do not eat cheese or red meat. I like to bowl and I love memphis">tutoring.

About Me

I work in the Academic Support Center at a local community college and teach College Algebra part-time with Mississippi Valley State University. I have earned both my bachelor and master degree in Accounting, my bachelor degree in mathematics, a master degree in teaching, and my MBA.

I love memphis">tutoring all kind of students. It is always rewarding to help students who struggle with various concepts begin to finally understand them. I have tutored in many venues and forms of media for many years, from traditional one-to-one memphis">tutoring to group memphis">tutoring to online memphis">tutoring.

Experience

I have experience memphis">tutoring since 2006 from upper elementary to advanced college courses from online, in-person individual to small group sessions. I also have experience teaching secondary math in inner-city public, public charter, and private schools. I also have many years of teaching college courses (college algebra, precalculus, calculus, economics, financial accounting, individual tax, medical calculations, critical thinking, etc.) with various colleges in the Memphis, Tennessee, area.

Approach

My approach varies from student to student. My goal is to quickly gauge where the student is and what areas the student is struggling in so I can better determine how to help the student. Some students come prepared and have exact questions ready. Others do not even know what questions to ask. However, my numerous years of experience allow me to quickly jump in and help students where they are.
