one thing i love is being around people and getting to meet new people everyday. i thrive off of diversity and exploring new cultures. i love exploring new activities too. I am so willing to learn that i'll practically do anything. From rock climbing to salsa dancing. i love it all. I hope to try something new like gardening or robotics. just to say i've done it all.

About Me

Many people may not know right way that I have lived over seas for 6 years of my life. I lived in Frankfurt, Germany for 3 years and Bangkok, Thailand for 3 years. Each journey shaped and molded who i am today and my perspective of the world. I love to travel and experience new cultures. I also love to work with children, and i can speak spainsh, french and german.

i have had about 2 years of maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring experience in an elementary school. I interned at Montgomery Knolls Elementary School in Silver Spring , Maryland as a teacher assistant to a kindergarten class as well as a homework help employee to all grades. I loved working with the children to help and enhance their skills which ranged from problem solving ,to writing ,to mathematics. I grew an amazing bond with my students that i still keep to this day. I enjoyed looking after the kids and watching them blossom throughout the year. It was definitely the highlight of my junior and senior year.

When working with anyone, not just kids i feel as those you must remain patient and understand of each individuals learning tactics. I also love to express new ways and creative ways to keep the person engaged. I would often use different objects such as blocks or using paper i would draw shapes for the children. Sometimes i would even use food objects such as fruit, or pretzels when teaching math. When writing i would advise the children to take their time re-read over what they are looking at and take their time to make sure they are comprehending completely what their doing. No matter how much you know it is the job of the maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor to make sure the person being tutored knows the material.
