Fun Facts

Growing up I was that child that stayed up past her bedtime to finish a book, and my passion for reading has only grown since then. Often times I have to be redirected around obstacles in the house because I'm reading while walking around the house. I try to read books from all genres including adult horror, and historical fiction but I've recently been obsessed with reading memoirs.

About Me

I grew up in Katy, Texas but my dad got a job for Saudi Aramco forcing me to go to and graduate from a tiny college prep high school in Saudi Arabia. I am currently studying at the University of Texas at Austin after transferring in as a sophomore from Austin Community College, so I do not have a GPA at UT yet but I did have a 4.0 both semesters at Community College. I would like to go to Medical School after I finish my BME degree.

In high school I was the leader of austin">tutoring club which worked with the counselors to find students that were struggling in a subject and match them up with students that were confident with that subject. Being apart of someone else's learning experience was an amazing experience for myself and I'm hoping to gain the same kind of experiences through frog austin">tutoring.

I have a different approach for each subject. For social sciences such as psychology and history I explain the content using color coded notes and flashcards, but with subjects like chemistry or calculus I work through problems that enhance the understanding of the subject. I'm a visual learner so having organized notes and flashcards to austin">tutor from is very important for me but I understand that not everyone learns in the same way so I try to adjust my austin">tutoring to accommodate the person I am helping.
