Fun Facts
One passion that I have is that I love to travel! I have been to over 30 countries and love to explore the world around me. I also love reading, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.
About Me
I am a passionate educator who loves to help students. My favorite thing about teaching is watching students’ interest and curiosity spark as they engage in hands-on activities and learn about the world around them. I have taught students from kindergarten to high school over the last ten years.
I graduated from New York University with a Master’s degree in Environmental Conservation Education and Pace University with a Master’s degree in Teaching Adolescent Science Education. I completed my Bachelor’s of Science degree at McGill University in Montreal, QC, Canada with a major in biology and a minor in psychology.
Experience
I am a certified teacher with ten years of experience. I have taught elementary and middle school science and have also tutored privately for science, math, and reading.
Approach
As a teacher, I get to know each of my students. I then work with the student to set up an individualized learning plan. We work together to make sure each student's needs are being met.
