I'm a 21 year old college student from maryland/baltimore">Baltimore, Maryland. I played alot of sports growing up and I enjoy working with the youth. In high school I played football, basketball, baseball and wrestling.

Awarded Most Improved student of 2010 class, Captain of football team, all division team, volunteer for Northwest Bulldogs Youth organization, member of Ferrum College football team, winner of black hats offseason group leadership award, Member of Morgan State University Math Club, The Society For The Advancement of science/maryland/baltimore">Computer Science, The science/maryland/baltimore">Computer Science Club, The APL ATLAS mentoring program, APL Technology Leadership Scholars program, Winner of the APL Air and Missile Defense Sector’s STEM Demo kit project, 3.5 gpa

I have been maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring classmates and other college students for the past year and a half at Morgan State University in both Math and science/maryland/baltimore">Computer Science. Along with helping students develop study skills. My preferred subject matter to maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor is science/maryland/baltimore">Computer Science because it’s my area of expertise but I have strong Math skills. I also spent a number of years coaching inner city youth in football with the Northwest Bulldogs. These kids range from five to fifth teen years old. I like working with kids and helping them develop mentally.

The approach I like to take when maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring or working with people is I like to give an example of how to properly solve a problem and then let them attempt to solve the problem themselves. Once I diagnose somewhat how the person thinks and try to solve the problem. I can then try to provide a way to solve problems that somewhat match there train of thought to make the process easier for them. Once they have a method that they are more comfortable with I provide them with problems for them to practice.

Experience

Currently an intern with the Army Research Lab but I was with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory last year
