Fun Facts

I am a captain of my college's lacrosse team. I can often be found on campus in a hammock or sitting in Starbucks drinking chai and iced coffee. I live by the quote, "Be somebody that makes everybody like a somebody."

About Me

I am a junior at Marian University in Indianapolis, IN. I play lacrosse and enjoy spending my free time thrifting. I am studying Elementary Education and will receive minors in Elementary Math and English as a Second Language. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Greece!

Experience

I have always been an honors students and continue that by being on the dean's list in college. I have tutored a few elementary students throughout my high school years and gain more experience through college course in classroom teaching. I work for a summer camp over the summer and help teach the importance of leadership and good decision making.

Approach

In school, I often rushed through my work and made simple mistakes, so as a tutor I always encourage my students to find their own mistakes and try again. By tutoring, I hope to help the students, but also they help teach me, so that I can create a positive learning environment in my future classroom.
