About Me

I am an IT professional who started in Aerospace Engineering. Life takes you through a lot of twists and turns but the foundations you build in life long learning, problem solving and sharpening critical thinking skills will get you through the challenges.

Experience

I have been privately working with kids in my children’s elementary school tutoring privately since the start of the pandemic. I was also the Director of Student Activities for the after school STEM program prior to the pandemic shutdown.

Approach

I have a natural ability to put myself in students’ frame of view and break information down into understandable chunks. Often times, math seems overwhelming as if by staring at the problem, a person should instantly know the solution. Math is a process of following foundational patterns to guide you to seeing the path to fining an answer. My approach is to build a student’s confidence with each step by breaking down info using visual explanations as well as guided problem solving outlines.
