About Me
I began teaching Math and Science over 17 years ago. I started working on my craft as volunteer high school math tutor in Denton ISD while also working as a math grader at the University of North Texas, where I graded and created answer keys for College Algebra courses. I started college at the age of 16, upon getting accepted into the Texas Academy of Math and Science at UNT. I then worked for a Sylvan Learning Center. I've also worked for Paragon Learning Center (Which later became Nobel Academy) teaching Math, Science, and ACT/SAT/GED prep.
Experience
I have experience teaching the following subjects: Elementary Math, Prealgebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3, Probability, Trigonometry, Statistics, College Math, College Algebra, GED Math, math/texas/dallas">ACT Math, SAT Math, STAAR Math, Elementary Science, Chemistry, and Physics.
Approach
I've been learning, teaching, tutoring, and mentoring for as long as I can remember. I'm a very gifted teacher and it's very enjoyable to me, much like a hobby. I've learned to adjust my teaching techniques, depending on the specific student. I've become very aware of common mistakes that students make, and take preventable measures so that my students don't make these same mistakes.
