About Me

I have been in education for 20 years. I have taught all grade levels K-12 as a Reading Specialist, education/illinois/chicago">Special Education teacher, Instructional Coach and classroom teacher. I am currently an Assistant Principal and miss working directly with students so tutoring is the perfect option for me outside of school hours!

Experience

I have taught at the elementary level as a 4th and 5th grade classroom teacher, reading specialist and education/illinois/chicago">special education teacher. I also worked at the MS and HS level as a reading specialist and instructional coach.

Approach

My tutoring style is to get to know my students to provide the instruction and help they need to be successful. Learning style is important to me and I focus my instruction on how my students best learn.
