Fun Facts
As a native New Yorker I have become passionate about Contemporary Art and Design. During my childhood I spent significant time learning about midcentury and modern art with my father, as he has been collecting paintings for as long as I can remember. Over the years I have become more knowledgeable in Contemporary Art and have begun to build a small collection of my own.
About Me
I am in my second year of graduate school at NYU for Real Estate Finance.
Throughout my college and graduate school education I have maintained an excellent academic record. Currently, my GPA is 3.66. Moreover, I made the Dean’s list during my undergraduate career. When I graduate I plan to pursue a career in Real Estate Development.
As a tutor of a special needs child I developed an understanding how tutoring can empower children who struggle in academics by building self-confidence. On an informal basis I have spent many hours assisting my nine year old cousin with reading-comprehension/new-york/new-york">reading comprehension and math. I truly enjoy teaching these two subjects.
I understand that all children have different skill sets. My approach is to help each child recognize and build his or her strengths in order to help them compensate for their weaknesses. By focusing on what a child is good at they build self-confidence and become prepared to face challenges. Creating a warm environment and teaching children that it is not just about getting the right answer but about how one arrives there is the foundation of my approach to learning.
