About Me

I am a senior Mathematics and Management double major at Roger Williams University. I have been on the Dean's list every semester. I am on the Women's basketball team, a math tutor, a peer mentor, and a mathematics research assistant at RWU. I am hoping to pursue at Master's degree next year at connecticut-state-university">Eastern Connecticut State University to obtain my teacher certification in secondary education in Mathematics.

Experience

At RWU I have had the opportunity to tutor students in the areas of algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus I for the past 3 years. I have done individual tutoring and review sessions before exams.

Approach

As a tutor for the past 3 years I have learned how to help all students. I first ask what they are struggling with and how I can help them. I work with students to see what method works for them for a certain topic in math. Then, I go have the student go through a few problems with my assistance to make sure they understand.
