I was a professional volleyball player once.

About Me

I was born in Brazil and I came to the States as a young teenager, and as such I am able to identify with the students learning another language as well as with the struggles of school. I have two Masters and I have spent most of my career teaching college/university and adult learners, but I also have experience tutoring kids privately.

Experience

I have experience teaching writing, Spanish, ESL, and Toefl at the adult/college level, online and in-person. I also have experience tutoring languages and for exams.

Approach

I believe that everyone is unique and a teacher must provide a diverse and engaging environment so that students with varying degrees of knowledge and ability can improve and succeed. I use every type of methodology I have learned over the years as part of my arsenal of tools and techniques to try and reach all students.
