Fun Facts
I am a captain on the Johns Hopkins varsity fencing team!
About Me
I am a combined bachelors and masters student and Johns Hopkins University studying Applied Mathematics and Mathematics. I have been on the Dean’s list every semester and have teaching experience as both a tutor and teaching assistant. I can teach any level of mathematics, ranging from elementary school to graduate level.
Experience
I tutored throughout my high school and college careers, and I was also a study consultant. I have been a teaching assistant for three courses in college: linear algebra (intro level), probability (upper/graduate level), and statistics (upper/graduate level).
Approach
Many students struggle with math because they are not taught how to grapple with the underlying abstract concepts, but it is a strong understanding of the theory that makes concrete problems make sense. I seek to help students conceptualize the deeper ideas and make sense of the reason behind the methods they learn.
