1)I played the piano at the Governors Mansion in 8th grade.

2) I not only have a part time job at a non-profit that provides after school and sacramento">tutoring programs for disadvantaged kids, but I run two businesses as well.

3) I love to fly! Ziplining, parasailing an hang gliding are some of my favorite activities.

About Me

Mark Schwartz has a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with a Major in finance and 26 total college accounting units. He has been a strong proponent of education, and has continually educated himself in his chosen fields, for example:

He has held both a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Investment and Derivatives Auditor credentials. He has specialized in SAT, GRE and GMAT test preparation, recently passing the SAT in the 95th percentile of test takers. He has recently passed the CBEST math and English sections in the 90th percentile of test takers. He has tutored k-12 students in underperforming school districts, as well as average and advanced students at all levels through Junior College.
Mark is competent in most high school subjects, specializing in English, Math and Writing.

Experience

I have been an independent sacramento">tutor for over 3 years in the Sacramento Area. I have taught kids from 1st grade to young adults in junior college. I excel in English and math, but am competent in study skills and other subjects taught out of a text book. I specialize in standardized test preparation, and my ACT/SAT students see a significant increase in their test scores.

Approach

Let Mark help your student understand what it takes to get through any given coursework. He will assess strengths and weaknesses, provide individualized lessons, and work in conjunction with classroom teachers and materials.
