One passion that I have is for working out. It makes me feel super productive and after I work out, I feel like I can get a ton of homework done! I am from Oregon but I go to school in Arizona. I love to stay active and I am a people person; I love being surrounded by people a lot of the time.

About Me

I am a first year Physiology and Medical Sciences major at the University of Arizona. I was awarded a full ride to the university for academics and have been maintaining my 4.0 GPA. I hope to attend medical school after my undergraduate. My goal is to earn my MD.

Experience

As an older sister to two younger brothers I spent a lot of time at the kitchen table helping them out with their homework. I learned that I had a passion for helping younger kids value school and actually enjoy it! I hope to continue to help younger kids look at their school work as an opportunity to learn, grow, and mature and not as something that is frustrating and boring.

Approach

Throughout my years of schooling I have ran into teachers that do not give me the resources that I need to succeed. I felt that this was so unfair and I had a lot of trouble finding extra help when I felt that I wasn't getting it from the teacher. I want to be that extra push for those kids that are struggling in school or don't feel like they are given the best circumstances to succeed.
