Fun Facts
My wife works part time as a nurse. A lady she was working with had a granddaughter that was pregnant and on drugs. The granddaughter was asking my wife for help to get her blood pressure down so that she could have an abortion. My wife and I talked the granddaughter out of having the abortion and adopted the little girl. We spent several months helping the granddaughter with her pregnancy. Our little girl has zero signs of drug abuse and is three years old now. Her name is Grace.
About Me
I am 46 years old and have a 22 year old son and a 19 year old son. In addition, I have my 3 year old daughter. My wife and I have been together for 15 years now. We live in Charlotte, NC. I’m originally from this area and my wife is from CA. We live one 7 acres with a ½ mile gravel driveway. Right after High School, I worked in the construction field building and remodeling homes. At age 24 I started college and ended up with my Masters in Biology. I was never into sports. I enjoy the outdoors,

Being older (46 years old) I have more life experiences than someone right out of college. I have 3 kids myself, so I understand how important it is for a Parent to let another person into their kid's life and help them with their school work. I will treat another Parent’s kids just like I would treat my own kids. With 15 years of teaching public school, I have skills to help kids at any level of their learning process. Approach
My first goal is to get the students' trust. If a student does not like or trust the teacher or tutor, they will not get the maximum help from the session. I would do this just by getting to know the student. Let the student talk to me and tell me about their life or skills. I will also give students the chance to give me the answers to their questions, instead of me just giving them the answers.
