I am very passionate when it comes to reading and writing. The new phase of reading books on tablets and computers is not for me. If I can not flip the pages with my finger, I am not interested. During my school years I was the person to have proof read and revise assigned papers.

About Me

I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011 with a Major in Communications and Minor in Business Management. Math has always been the most difficult subject to me, Business Calculus was my final course in that area of study. In High School I was the President of DECA which is a Business and Marketing organization.

I have worked with many Elementary level students on their basic studies. When it comes to Reading, Writing and Literacy I consider myself a step above the rest. I have been able to transform those struggling on tests to becoming top ranking students. Throughout College my peers would have me proof read their term papers and looked to me for assistance in obtaining the best grades possible for writing. Now, my friends ask me for assistance with business letters, resumes, corporate emails and much more.

Everyone learns things differently! Some people are visual learners and others may need to write everything down on paper. It is important that students are able to learn in the way that best suits their needs. Memorizing is not learning and those items are easily forgotten. But, when a subject is actually taught and understood the content is kept in the brain for a much longer period of time. I think that it is important for students to enjoy learning instead of thinking of homework or education as a burden.
