Fun Facts

I am an active member of the UT Dallas wind ensemble and pep band and I play the euphonium! I am currently starting up the sorority Tau Beta Sigma at my school. I went to Plano West Senior High School and graduated in 2012.I also have a Grammy (really random, but cool!)

About Me

I am a junior Biology pre-dental major at UT Dallas. I attended TCU and studied nursing there. I was the lead nursing dallas">tutor for one year and a private anatomy and physiology dallas">tutor for two years while I attended TCU. I have a 3.83 GPA and hope to go to dental school when I graduate.

I was the lead nursing dallas">tutor for TCU's Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and I was also a private dallas">tutor. I have experience dallas">tutoring in anatomy and physiology, elementary statistics, and general study skills. All of the students I have had achieved a letter grade of B or higher.

My philosophy is that practice makes perfect! I learned how to "think like the test" and when I study, I can pick out the main focus of the lesson and create questions in my head that the teacher might ask on the test. I believe that answering practice questions and taking practice tests are the best way to learn material. When I dallas">tutor, I go over material and ask various questions along the way to reinforce memorization of key facts and concepts.
