I'm a voracious reader and enjoy beta-reading and editing others' writings, as well as writing essays for fun! This helps me relax and switch my brain from a science/medical mindset.

About Me

I am an MD (no longer practicing clinically) who loves helping others, whether educationally or otherwise. I have a young son who is my pride and joy, and a wonderful wife who keeps me (relatively) sane.

Experience

I have didactic and clinical experience from medical school, pediatric residency, and private practice. I have lifelong experience writing on a large variety of topics.

Approach

When I first meet with someone to tutor them, I like to find out what their level of understanding is and help them organize their thought process and study habits. In writing, this usually takes the form of helping outline the paper so that they can see their thoughts manifest in the structure of the paper. I was homeschool K-12 and have a strong appreciation for self-motivated lifelong learners who love what they study and study what they love.
