I enjoy watching the cooking channel and learning how to create and try different foods. I also like to watch television shows that involve documentaries. During my free time, I like exploring different neighborhoods and parks.

About Me

I am a education/north-carolina/charlotte">Special Education teacher at an elementary school in Charlotte, NC. I teach students with autism on different grade levels. I moved to North Carolina from New Jersey. My ultimate goal is to become the director of my own child care center working with students with different disabilities.

Experience

I have been working as a teacher for 15 years. Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked in public, private, and charter schools. I worked with children and adults with different academic and physical disabilities. I am currently working at an elementary school as a education/north-carolina/charlotte">Special Education teacher working with students who are autistic. I have experience in writing IEP's for the students.

Approach

My approach is to meet students where they are and work with them from that point. I also use differentiation when working with students. I make learning fun and engaging for my students. As a tutor, I will bring a positive attitude and patience during all my sessions. I will allow my students the opportunity to understand how they arrived at their answers.
