I go on long-distance backpacking trips in the mountains as often as I can. I am an aspiring geologist with a passion for the environment and understanding how our amazing world works.

About Me

I am a graduate of queens-university-of-charlotte">Queens University of Charlotte where I majored in Environmental Science. I was a Presidential Scholar who was on the Dean's List every semester. I am currently completing my degree in Geology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

I have tutored extensively in the maths and sciences for several years from the elementary school through university level.

My mind is very scientifically-oriented, but I am also very creative and artistic. I am able to re-imagine problems in a way that makes them easier to understand. I am confident in my skills and in my ability to present information, and I emphasize understanding the material rather than just memorizing formulas about how to solve problems.
