Fun Facts
Although much of my time nursing school has been filled with science and math, I have found recently that I love to paint. I have so many paintings that I don't have enough room in my apartment to hang them all! I also work on my own music blog in my free time, reviewing/critiquing new albums and concerts that I attend.
About Me
I will begin my fifth year at Drexel University in Fall of 2014. I have been on the Dean's List continuously since I began my journey at Drexel in 2010. I have interned at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for three years now. Upon graduation I am interested in pursuing a career in Peri-operative Nursing, and hope to obtain my Master's in Clinical Trials Research or become a Nurse Practitioner.
In high school I was a member of the National Honor Society which allowed me the opportunity to philadelphia">tutor children in both middle and elementary school. In my Senior year of high school I participated in Literary Analysis Homeroom, which allowed me to edit other students' papers before they submitted them. Since I have been in college, I have helped many classmates and friends prepare for exams and have been told that I am very efficient in helping others learn material.
I believe that if you can teach it, you are learning. My goal when philadelphia">tutoring is to always enable the person I am philadelphia">tutoring to be able to teach the material back to me. In being able to teach-back, it shows understanding and comprehension. I think that every person is unique in how they learn, whether their style is aural, through reading/writing, kinesthetic, etc. that finding what works is key. I like combining different styles to find a way that works for each individual.
