I love to read non-fiction books and watch documentaries. In my free time, I enjoy painting, swimming, playing with my six dogs, cooking, baking, and watching history documentaries. I would describe myself as intelligent, outgoing, ambitious, hard-working, generous, and respectful. My favorite places to visit are local Starbucks or Barnes and Noble.

About Me

I am a junior Political Science major at atlanta-university">Clark Atlanta University. I am a grand officer in the Grand Girls Assembly. The Grand Girls Assembly, which is sponsored by the Prince Hall Order of Eastern Stars, is an organization for young women between the ages of 8 and 18 that promote finer womanhood. We take part in numerous community service activities such as feeding the needy, visiting the elderly in nursing homes, helping out at food banks, and fundraising money to go to charities.

Experience

While a student at Twinsburg High School, I was a student tutor for the school district. As a student tutor, I helped students from kindergarten and up to grade 10 in subject areas such as math, English, and social studies.
In addition to being a student tutor, I have also privately tutored students virtually.

Approach

A lesson plan is configured solely based upon the goals student’s set for themselves in the initial session, students’ strengths and weaknesses, resources for the student to utilize outside of sessions, and briefing for follow-up sessions. One-on-one hands-on tutoring and advising component using Systematic Analysis Framework (SAF). This unique problem-solving approach taught to students provides a system to approach all topics that they encounter in school.
