My hobbies include horseback riding and Baylor Football. I am CPA eligible and currently testing. I am the oldest of three children.

About Me

I double majored in Accounting and Management Information Systems at Baylor University and graduated with an overall GPA of 3.31. After 2 internships and graduation, I accepted my first job as an Audit Assistant at Deloitte where I worked for over a year before deciding to pursue a teaching certification. I am CPA eligible and currently testing with hopes to begin education classes in 2015.

I was a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement and assisted in preparation of ‘Business Basics’ lesson plans. I implemented these plans for classroom of 25 sixth graders. Additionally, during my summers throughout college, I co-lead weekly day camp sessions for 4 - 8 children between the ages of 5 – 18 to improve horseback riding skills and teach them how to care for horses: grooming, tacking, feeding, information on breeds, colors, and points of the horse

I also have had experience coaching through my audit job at Deloitte. As a first and second year, I explained assignments to interns and helped them to understand the audit and accounting concepts. As a tutor I want to build confidence in my students. I believe having a good attitude makes the biggest difference.
