Fun Facts
I am originally from Minnesota, but I moved to Fort Worth in January of 2019 for work. I have decided to pursue a career change, and I am currently a full-time electrical engineering student hoping to work in the aerospace industry.
About Me
I am a sophomore Electrical Engineering major at UTA. I currently have a 4.0, and I also help with Optics/Nanophotonics research. I am hoping to pursue the Signal Processing major track within the Electrical Engineering program.
Experience
I worked as a math tutor in high school. I worked as a mathematics teaching assistant for two semesters while I was pursuing my BS in Mathematics from Wheaton College. While pursuing my MS in Applied Statistics at SMU, I also worked as a teaching assistant for an introductory statistics course aimed at business and marketing students.
Approach
I strive to break down the sometimes extremely complex concepts found in math and physics and make them plainly understandable to students. Rather than giving students the answers, I feel that the best learning takes place when students are encouraged to think for themselves and work through challenging problems.
