Fun Facts

One interesting thing about me is that I love music. I like Classical such as Andrea Bocelli, Jazz, Reggae, Salsa, Meringue, Zouk and Soca. These types of music are the ones that I play in my spare time. I enjoy watching soccer game and my favorite team is Brazil. In terms of education for fun, I like to read, listen to talk radio, and TV broadcasting on round tables and political debates so I can learn from the highly educated politicians.

About Me

I believe in education and I am an educated person. I earn my Bachelors in Health Management with Honors reaching a GPA of 3.70/4.00 in Health Management from Northeastern University. I also gained my first Masters in Leadership from the same University. Then I received my second Masters with Honors, reaching a GPA of 3.95/4.00 from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. I have excellent writing skills and my accomplishment resulted from my ability to write and I have a passion to teach.

Experience

I have been tutoring English and French for 2 years through the platform of Course Hero. And on the platform I work with young learners students and adults among college students. My results with them are particularly amazing and they like my teaching style and method because I have the passion, patience, and I use empathy (ability to put myself in the student's shoes to help him/her understand the materials). I obtained a TEFL/TESOL Teaching Certificate through the ITTT.

Approach

My tutoring approach consists of helping my students understand the materials through practical examples. Avoid rushing and have the patience to repeat the materials as many times as I can until the student gets them. I will not jump to the next subject until I make sure that the student assimilates what is being discussed. I would encourage my students to avoid any distractive scene that would curb their attention. Focusing, listening, asking questions, and testing are my main objective.
