About Me

I am a certified family nurse practitioner with 4 years of experience and a registered nurse with 16 years of experience. I was an LVN for one year and prior to that worked as a CNA and licensed cosmetologist. I live by two simple words, conditions change. One's circumstances today does not mean that it will stay that way, good or bad. Endure the process and always remember why you started in the first place when the going gets tough!

Experience

As a designated preceptor and tutor in various clinical settings, I have had the honor of training individuals from the novice level to the experienced. This experience includes study sessions to pass critical nursing exams and required competency exams to maintain employment. Each individual has different learning needs and deserves recognition. Frog Tutoring further affords me the opportunity to be a steward of what I have been given to the anyone in need.

Approach

It takes a lot for an individual to acknowledge they need help. I've been there and I recognize that some individuals truly have a gift to get the best out of others. I was a straight A student who struggled with geometry. Luckily, I worked with a tutor who was different. She actually cared and it showed. I maintained a consistent A average that shocked my teacher who I felt thought I couldn't do it. I always strive to be what the tutor was to me, an inspiration and a motivator.
