Fun Facts

I have three main passions in my life: traveling, reading, and cooking. I've been fortunate enough to be able to spend a summer living in Paris and it was amazing: all of the history and the language and the city! I also spent a summer just traveling around to various cities around the European continent, and that was by far the best experience I've had in my life so far. Getting to experience all of the different cultures inspired me to continue with that for the rest of my life, getting to

About Me

I am a fourth-year History major (and European Studies minor) at UCLA, getting ready to graduate in June. Upon graduation, I have three options in mind: to attend a Master's in Education program and ultimately become a middle or high school history or literacy teacher; to attend a Master's in Public History program and work at a museum or historical site, giving tours to visitors and school groups; or to go all in and work towards my Ph.D in History to become a university professor. Both of these organizations focus on a mentorship aspect as well as a tutoring-based approach, and I'm proud of the work I've put into helping my girls succeed. I'm eager to get to work with Frog Tutoring in order to help more people succeed in areas they were previously uninterested or struggling in.

My number one priority in tutoring is to find an approach that works for each individual student, rather than using a cookie-cutter approach to teach that doesn't help all students. Kids learn in a variety of ways and I believe that helping to find the way that works best will be the most effective. I also believe that partnering with parents and teachers to make sure homework is getting turned in and that tests are being done successfully will help ensure that grades rise as quickly as possible. I will strive to make sure that each child understands the m
