Fun Facts

I was born and have lived in Minnesota all my life up until moving to Nebraska for college! I have a passion for soccer and being outdoors, as well as playing the piano and the guitar!

About Me

I am currently a sophomore at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am on the nursing track and after completing the nursing program, I hope to become a nurse practitioner!

Experience

I was involved in a program in high school that provided me the opportunity to tutor elementary school kids in Spanish. I also have experience working with children as I have been a nanny for 5 years and would frequently help out with schoolwork!

Approach

It was very difficult for me to find a motivation for learning growing up and I found that it was hard for me to focus and get my work done in an effective way. I had a tutor in middle school who came up with creative learning styles that made me see that learning can actually be fun! Through patience, creativity, engagement, and concentration, I was able to find that motivation I had been looking for. As a tutor, I hope to bring these same qualities and help students be successful.
