Fun Facts
Back in middle school, I joined my school's unicycle club and learned how to ride on one wheel. We rode in parades, held challenges (such as, who can ride up this paved mountain fastest), and learned cool tricks like riding backwards, jumping up and down, and riding on the super tall unicycle, called a giraffe.
About Me
I am a sophomore majoring in Environmental Engineering, minoring in Spanish, and getting certified in Environmental Humanities. I attend Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University, and I have been on the deans list every semester. I hope to graduate with my masters in five years.
Experience
Ever since 6th grade, I was four years ahead in math. I excelled in school and helped my classmates with any questions they had regarding the classwork.
Approach
My teaching approach stems from encouraging the student to struggle through the problem until they get to the answer. While I utilize positive reinforcement, I have come to learn that the best way the brain understands the lessons for good is when it arrives to the answers itself. My methodology is about patience, hard work and results.
