One thing that people usually quickly learn from me is that I love to sing. I love to smile and make people feel comfortable. I love teaching Spanish and helping with homework coaching. I enjoy dancing but also listening to jazz. I am the only girl of 4 brothers and the youngest. This is my first time living in LA. I have always lived in NYC.

About Me

I graduated from Hunter College. I majored in Sociology and also took extensive coursework in Psychology. I became a care coordinator. I have also been teacher assistant and also heavily involved in education. My goal is to become a Certified Spanish Teacher and also a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. I eventually want to become a Speech Language Pathologist.

Experience

I have tutored children in reading and math at a elementary school level grades. Working for Frog tutoring will give me more opportunity to impact more lives and help students who are in need. I have tutored Reading with a company called Reading Partners within the public school.

Approach

As I child, I struggled with math and some areas as well. I knew that with encouraging words and with persistence I will able to realize that I can do many great things. I learned that I had to make my mind stronger and believe in myself even more. I learned that mistakes was apart of the growing process and it was okay to be wrong and make them mistakes in order to have a growth mindset. I actually don't give my students the answers and I let them understand better.
