Fun Facts

As the oldest of three siblings I am always the person in charge of organizing things, mostly parties. I love to plan parties and my family takes advantage of that. I know what everyone likes and I make sure we have sufficient entertainment for those who assist. I love to sing and dance. Karaokes are common in the Seife residence. As you can see I am a family oriented person.

About Me

I am a senior at the miami">University of Miami. I am a Biology major in the pre-med track. I transfered after my Sophomore year from The Honor College at miami-dade-college">Miami Dade College. I have always been interested in volunteering and helping the community in Miami. I hope to some day become a physician who helps those in need in this city or any other part of the world. I love to feel like I make a difference in someone's life.

Experience

As a member of The Honor College at miami-dade-college">Miami Dade College those who take Chemistry I and II can be leaders of a study initiative called Peer Lead Team Learning where I helped chemistry students to better understand the subject. I planned sessions with the professor's help and at the end distribute a quiz to make sure the concepts stuck. Approach

I think the most important thing for my students is to feel confortable so they can ask as many questions as they need. I feel is imperative for them to know I would never judge them for any questions on a subject. My approach is to help the student arrive at the right answer instead of just giving it to him or her. I believe students are not taught enough problem solving skills, no matter the subject, and I teach them strategies to improve. It is vital that my students leave me knowing how to a
