Fun Facts

I am fascinated by the Southwest but grew up in the Midwest! I love visiting national parks, trying new restaurants, playing lacrosse, and painting. I have been obsessed with learning math since I can remember.

About Me

I am a junior mathematics major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While earning my math degree, I am also taking numerous science-related pre-requisites for PA school. I hope to apply to PA schools in Arizona and Utah, and work in dermatology after graduating!

Experience

I don't have much formal experience with tutoring, however, I enjoyed helping my younger brother out with his math assignments growing up. In addition, I utilize teaching in my own study habits. Teaching material while collaborating with other students helps me to better understand the content.

Approach

I believe it can be very difficult to figure out what you are passionate about later in life when you had no one to plant a seed or encourage you at a young age. It took me a while, in college, to discover who I am and what I truly enjoy doing. I realized that, unlike others, math was not a burden but a fun activity for me, and I should use those skills to earn a degree doing what I love! In addition, I realized I enjoy learning about the human body, and working with people of all ages. PA schoo
