About Me

I have been a special education teacher and case manager. I am working on completing my doctorate in special education. I am passionate about working with students with disabilities or who struggle with learning!

Experience

I have been a special education teacher for high school students for 11 years. I also helped support students with visual impairments and have training in this area. I have also worked with college, graduate and doctoral students with disabilities with executive functioning skills and accommodations. I look forward to supporting students with Frog Tutoring by individualing each session based upon student needs.

Approach

I am a student with a disability and understand that each person has their own approach to learning. I believe in different learning styles, buidling a rapport with the student, and making each session count to the fullest. I think open communication and collaboration is important with students and parents. I think all students have the potential for success and we are here to help find tools that work for the learner. Empathy and active listening are important.
