I am INCREDIBLY passionate about Film and Philosophy! I'm from South Carolina, and in high school, I did ballet!

About Me

I am a junior student at Columbia University, where I study History and Film. I'm consistently on the dean's list, and I hope to one day attend law school. When I'm not studying in school, I am an actor!

Experience

I was an english, latin, and AP History tutor throughout high school -- in fact, I briefly taught an introductory level course my senior year. I have learned much from my professors in college as well, and I have occasionally tutored students from my old high school.

Approach

I truly believe in a collaborative work environment, and I aim to be serious, yet kind. A substantive session, to my mind, is characterized by the student not just learning the material in the present, but becoming comfortable with it. At its best, school can be a wonderful extension of the self -- displaying the greatness of each student. It just takes comfort in the environment.
