My mom's side of the family is Icelandic, and Iceland is one of my favorite places in the world to visit. Also, I play guitar, drums, piano, and a little bit of trumpet!

About Me

I am a second year science/new-york/new-york">Computer Science major at Barnard College in NYC. I was also born and raised in NYC, and I don't think I will ever leave. Lastly, I have been on the deans list for the past 2 semesters!

Experience

I played classical percussion all four years of high school, and learned music theory and music history as well. In addition, I also worked at Starbucks this past summer and loved it. It was so inspiring to learn about customer service, and I now feel more equipped socially and technically for any job put in front of me.

Approach

Being a women in STEM, I find it to be extremely important to have female role models put in front of young girls when first learning in school. I have always loved math and science, but through attending Barnard, I was able to fully immerse myself in science/new-york/new-york">Computer Science which I adore more than anything I could imagine. I did not even know what science/new-york/new-york">Computer Science was for most of my upbringing, and I want to bring this awareness to all young kids.
