About Me
I am a psychology major at Baruch College with a current GPA of 3.6. I am a senior and plan to graduate in May 2022, which is a few months away. I plan to get my masters in Mental Health Counseling soon and become a therapist in NYC.
Experience
I have worked at a tutoring center and as an after school counselor at an elementary school. I loved being able to work with students and helping to create a better understanding of their studies. I understand it can be tough sometimes in a classroom setting, with many distractions. Everyone also has a different learning style and can benefit from a more personalized approach.
Approach
It can be hard to focus sometimes in school and grasp everything in a classroom setting. I believe a small group setting and one-on-one tutoring can be really helpful and beneficial to many students. When I was in school, there would be distractions during the class and a short time limit to fully learn a lesson. I can help students learn how to study better, take better notes, and understand the content fully so they can be a successful student!

Communication Tutoring
I am minoring in communication studies at Baruch College. I have taken many communication courses in college with A's. Communication is essential to learn and understand. I have learned about communication in various types of setting and relationships. I can also teach how to create an amazing speech.
Psychology Tutoring
I am a psychology major at Baruch College with a 3.6 GPA. I am very passionate about psychology. Psychology is what I aim to focus on and get a doctorate in. I have a great understanding and have learned how be an effective tutor based on psychology.
Health Tutoring
I haven taken health classes in college and high school with A's in all classes. I find it very interesting and am able to easily teach it, with a great understanding.
Biology Tutoring
I have taken human biology in college and I really enjoyed it. I have also taken biology in high school. Biology does play an important role in psychology, which is my major and it's really helpful to know. Biology can be a hard subject to learn but it is very rewarding.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I have worked at a tutoring center, tutoring students from kindergarten to 4th grade after school. It would mostly consist of homework help. I help then understand the content fully. I also worked as an after school counselor at an elementary school where I have also helped with homework for a period.
