About Me

I attended the University of Texas and received a BS in Geology with a minor in Math. I received my teaching certificate in Composite Science and secondary mathematics in 1985 nd hd a 3.0 GPA. I earned a Master's degree in Physics Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M in 2005.

I am a firm believer of student directed learning in the classroom. In tutoring, I help students realize their ability and focus their understanding of concepts and ideas to bolster their confidence. I pride myself on being able to explain complex, difficult concepts and problem solving strategies in various ways dependent on their learning style.

I have taught high school, middle school and college, and have 25 years in the classroom. I have tutored students over that time and since and have great results with my students.
