Fun Facts
I love basketball, math, and helping people learn to see the world from a scientific standpoint— and to have fun doing it!
About Me
Im currently a student at the University of Utah where I’m a sophomore studying engineering. At the moment, I’m helping to tutor kids that went to my local high school in math and science with a program led by other students at the U.
Experience
I haven’t been officially tutoring long, however I’m learning along with my tutorees and have always had to ability to explain complex concepts learned in class to students who don’t get it at first: even in the classes I’m currently taking at university.
Approach
I like to help frame questions in a way that allows students to work through the problem themselves with what they already know, and help chime in with constructive questions as needed. This allows for better learning as the student isn’t just memorizing and repeating, they’re actively problem solving: helping the students remember at a higher rate.
