Fun Facts

Three passions one will quickly learn about me is that I'm a musician (singer, guitar, songwriter), have worked in Hollywood writing screenplays, and lived in Paris for over 5 years. So if you love music, film, and Paris, we could have fun making those a part of our lessons.

About Me

I am an American who did my BA in Philosophy in Paris, France before moving to England where I earned a Master's and Ph.D.in medieval literature from The University of Oxford. I am a published author across many mediums - which include books, films, Netflix series, and print, such as articles in Vogue.

Experience

As a Ph.D. at Oxford, I've lectured and tutored in subjects ranging from literature to philosophy, and history. I hold a CELTA from Cambridge and have taught English as a Second Language in various scenarios, along with high school tutoring.

Approach

I try and teach with a focus on the learner, taking into account what I learn about them in conversations. Putting myself in their shoes. It has been my experience that any student can be reached and be successful if you are willing to meet them where they are.
